I'm handling the transition of our Windows 7 and 8.1 notebooks to Windows 10. We're using eAP-Fast for the EAP process, but it's no longer available as an option. I recall it existed before, though I'm not certain. I've obtained the latest installer from Microsoft's Surface Tools, but even after a successful run without errors, eAP-Fast still isn't accessible. I haven't had any success with the leap method either. The Microsoft Community hasn't returned any useful information. Anyone here have faced this issue?

This feature isn't visible in the Authentication section for the adapter.

It's unusual now. Previously, after installing each EAP, the expected results appeared. It seems a Windows 10 update might have altered this behavior. PEAP was the standard choice, while EAP-FAST existed as an alternative.

This seems unusual, as it appears to have disappeared from the interface. It might be an older version of Windows. I'm not sure if wired drivers are current. Could you check the link you shared?

We're using Windows 10 Enterprise. Currently, I'm testing Panasonic CF-19s and a few CF-20s while dealing with problems on an older MS Surface and new HP ProBooks. The drivers seem to be up-to-date.

I wasn't sure about the link you mentioned. Just wanted to double-check.

The Surface page seemed encouraging, yet nothing came through. I went ahead and saved the installers from there. They look identical to the previous ones I used successfully. Perhaps I should attempt a clean reinstall using an older ISO and ensure it stays offline to avoid any automatic updates.

Resolved somewhat... Previously we exported our wireless profiles from a Win 7 32 configuration. A more tech-savvy colleague attempted to import them into a Win 10 64 system using netsh. It functioned! Yet... EAP-FAST remains unavailable as an option for new WiFi profiles. We might adjust the XML files so this workaround could last longer, or until Microsoft releases an update that removes it, or perhaps switch to PEAP. If anyone finds another thread with a better solution, please share. Thanks.
