E5-2699v4 Xeon server model 5e does not initialize Windows properly.
Hey there, I've been working with some new parts lately and things haven't gone as planned. The computer won't boot into Windows, and the BIOS keeps showing up as post code 19, which suggests the PCH initialization failed. I've tried three different RAM modules in the right slots, removed the Optane module I had installed before, but nothing worked. I know this board is solid—my previous build with an i7-5820K ran smoothly on Windows. The specs are Asus X99 A II motherboard, Xeon E5-2699v4, 16GB DDR4 RAM (3000–3600 MHz), and a BIOS version 2101. Samsung 860 EVO 500GB BIOS is running at 2133 MHz. When I clear the CMOS, I can access the BIOS, but once it restarts, it always goes back to post code 19. I'm curious if switching to an older BIOS version might help, though I'm not sure what to try next.
