I recently purchased a Samsung 980 M.2 1 TB drive and mistakenly set it up as dynamic memory.

Consider basic memory or more advanced options. The performance difference depends on your needs and system capabilities. Basic memory is simpler but may be slower, while advanced settings can offer better speed and efficiency.

Performance shouldn't vary much between a standard disk and a dynamic disk unless you're leveraging advanced features of the latter. A dynamic disk allows combining drives into one, which adds some processing delay and reduces speed. If you don't require this capability, opt for a basic disk instead. For more details, refer to the official documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...amic-disks

For uniformity unless dynamic disk capabilities are required, revert to Basic settings.
