I have some concerns about the durability of my PS4 controller buttons. They are used frequently during gameplay, and I'm worried about their longevity. I play for short sessions, but the repeated pressure could affect them. How long should a controller button last under these conditions? It connects via USB port.

The main problems I've faced with PS controllers are usually the trigger button losing its full range or reaction, or one of the thumbpads becoming faulty. I haven't experienced a button failing before these other issues. It's been a long process, honestly, and I'm not even sure how long it took.

I've been (and still am) suffering from the "classic" analog drift issue on two of the ps4 controllers I own - they're both unrepairable and the drift appeared around the 3 year mark in both cases, I think. So, there's that...
