I'm searching for a durable motherboard suited for intense, round-the-clock performance with an i9-10980xe. You're looking for solid build, multiple SATA ports, and ample storage—ideally over 128GB. I've heard Asus mentions that using all PCIe slots can disable DIMM 2_2, so you'll want a model that supports it or has flexibility. The ROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore seems promising, but the extra power connector and 6-pin power supply are worth checking for compatibility and placement.
