The cat6 ethernet cables are built to withstand frequent plugging and unplugging. You can safely connect and disconnect them without worrying about damage. Since you're using a PC with Ethernet only and prefer stability for gaming, reinserting the cable each time should not harm it. Just be careful to avoid excessive force or sharp bends during handling.

It doesn't share much data, and usually the gadgets aren't consuming a lot of bandwidth. Just use a switch like this one here: https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Splitter...217&sr=8-1 Each device can reach full speed.
