Some longtime players recall this title and played it. DN3D launched in 1996 for MS-DOS. There were some odd comments about the game and its developers. It was definitely entertaining to play. You can purchase it via Steam, and possibly GOG.com as well, though I haven<|pad|>'s checked. It was more enjoyable than Doom Actually. The game at least included a storyline. Aliens invaded Earth and Duke Nukem had to defend the world.

I’ve played the game before and liked it. However, when it comes to the story, it matches the feel of Doom. Researchers on Mars activate a gateway to hell for power, demons break through, and the Doom Slayer attempts to stop them. In the next phase, demons attack Earth and the Doomguy must protect the world.

It came out a few years later. It was incredibly hilarious, quick to play, intense, and full of political wrongs—exactly what a first-person shooter should be. Duke 3D is essential to experience!

I can verify it's available on Steam. Duke 3d and the Duke Nukem game for the original PlayStation were decent. Duke Nukem Forever was a terrible experience.
