Under the 2nd monitor's controls, you can change the video inputs manually. On my setup, I select HDMI, VGA, or DVI individually, whereas it might require a different approach on your device.

I've already attempted that, but it didn't work. I can try again now.

Check the available physical connections on the monitor. If it doesn't support DVI to VGA, consider using a different adapter or cable.

HDMI, HDMI 2 and VGA are available. However, as I only have one HDMI port on my CPU and my PC doesn’t have a VGA output, I’m using a DVI VGA adapter.

No way, that doesn't make sense. You're probably mixing up devices.

Which converter do you need? It might require an "active" adapter. For example, this one: https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-DVI-...B00C93JQXS Works with four monitors and uses active adapters.

Have you considered using a passive adapter? Which ones are you planning to use?

Inactive adapters won't function, that's the straightforward truth. This is why we require active ones. I experienced this firsthand many years ago and discovered the lesson the hard way.
