Just that this is a global key that can't be activated in Steam if you have a German IP address. This means that there exists a censored version for Germany and Germans should buy a key for this instead.

It usually doesn’t mention a specific German version; instead, it notes the inability to view or play content in that country. A VPN could bypass such restrictions by changing your location.

It doesn't clearly mention a German cut version, but I assumed it because that's the usual pattern—like Borderlands getting a "low violence" release for German and possibly Australian players. If you bought it on Steam, you'd often be sent to this special edition. You could get an international key from services like G2A and unlock the uncut game. This works for all censored titles as long as they aren't banned in Germany. A good example is Manhunt; for that one, a VPN would be necessary. Same setup applies with Russian Steam keys.

I needed to turn it on through a VPN. Hate the German rules. I'm old enough. It's my choice what I play.
