I haven't used it much lately and today was supposed to play but the R2 isn't working. I tried resetting, but that didn't help. I opened it, everything looks fine. I cleaned the circuits and the rubber with school supplies, yet nothing changed. If I press with my finger instead of the button, the L2 works and the R2 doesn't. What could be causing this?

In summary, if the controller isn't in use and is stored safely, it should still work. Just keep in mind that the environment shouldn't be extreme.
It's also possible that the materials have simply worn down over time, particularly if they weren't of high quality or were cut short for cost reasons.
I plan to relocate your post to PC Gaming, hopefully.

The sentence "I haven't touched it in a while" is 13 words long.
The question about the Dualshock storage location is 18 words.
The query about wireless charging and battery replacement is 22 words.

Hm... Probably January 20 because the last game I remember playing was Sekiro (it was working fine) and it was in the bookshelf.
It's not the battery since it's only one button. and I also tried with USB cable.

I plan to relocate your post to PC Gaming – I hope someone there has dealt with a similar issue with the Dualshock 4.
