my pc is an older one from XP with a dual-core processor, decent specs but not top-tier. the monitors work fine in certain layouts, but sometimes positioning the screens causes mouse drift. when you keep them in horizontal mode, the cursor shifts unexpectedly between screens. if it moves for a while, it stabilizes. to fix this, try using a different monitor layout or adjust the display settings to prevent the mouse from shifting too much. also check if the graphics drivers are up to date.
Using Windows? Navigate to your desktop (wallpaper), click right-click, view screen resolution and check the positioning (by the way, try using some dots and commas next time)
It seems you're having trouble accessing display properties similar to what you used on Windows XP. You might need to navigate to Control Panel > Hardware & Sounds > Screen, then adjust the monitor settings. Try doing this without judging your older system setup.
I noted you're referring to an older machine, I own another one. Running Windows XP isn't a bad choice, and adjusting the screen resolution won't help in this case. Also, it won't fix the issue you described—please clarify your concern.
It seems the monitors aren't set up in the proper direction as defined by the operating system. You should locate the menu that lets you drag and click monitors. This feature is similar to adjusting resolution on Windows XP—click the desktop, select properties, then choose screen or settings, and you should be able to reposition the monitor correctly.
