there’s a way to launch a game in fullscreen at a lower resolution without changing your secondary monitor’s settings. The idea was to reduce the game’s resolution to ease GPU strain, but you want only the game affected by the resolution shift—not your secondary display either. Since you have multiple programs running on it, you’re wondering if adjusting resolution changes impact those apps or if you can tweak it via Windows 10 settings.

Adjust your screen display to match your lower resolution settings so you can enjoy the game in full screen without problems. Consider searching online or using forum search tools next time.

You can link the secondary display to another GPU. With an Intel desktop and a graphics card, you can utilize the integrated graphics for the additional screen.

The issue is making the post look white on the full screen, but I need just the lower resolution while playing. Since I switch games often, I don’t want to change resolutions each time.

I attempted that earlier when the IGPU was running, but the regular graphics card stopped functioning properly.

Your dual screen configuration is working fine. You have a 1080p display and a 1440p display, and you haven’t made any adjustments to the setup.

Both displays are 1080p, yet I can adjust the resolution freely, but issues persist when launching the game.

This situation isn't fixed and depends on the game. SWB2 lets you play in lower resolution with fullscreen, but most recent titles don't support that. You could make a .bat file to adjust the resolution manually—using custom keyboard shortcuts if needed. Source: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1532...a-computer

The game offers a fullscreen windowed/borderless experience.
