For my upcoming PC construction I aim for a dual-boot setup (Linux Mint and Windows 10). Because dual boot works well with distinct storage, I’d like each OS on its own NVMe drive. Running the GPU at PCIe 4.0 x8 is compatible with many boards, not just the TR4/Xeon range.

It might seem odd to switch between drives, but each one can handle tasks independently. Separate drives often improve performance and reliability by isolating workloads.
