I switched my mom's PC to dual boot with Windows 7 and Windows 10. She installed Windows 10 first, then added Windows 7. Now it only loads Windows 7. How can I restore the bootloader?

Open system settings, then identify the default operating system.

I quit and got a key for Windows 8, but Windows 7 won’t even load the USB drivers. I’m not going to waste time fumbling with it.

There were indeed other straightforward and cost-free options, but I respect your decision to move forward.

It wasn't for my own device—it was for my mom, and time was critical. It cost only a small amount. Plus, I have other priorities than fixing an operating system problem. I’d rather handle it on my own computer.

Well, bringing a mom into the picture means addressing it early on
