You can safely remove your previous Dropbox desktop folder from the old C drive, which is now your secondary D drive. Dropbox should continue syncing your files, so your data remains safe online.

You can examine the settings for Dropbox to find exactly where it's syncing. If you leave it as is, it will stay on "C" (current). It might be wise to verify this first, then close DB, remove the folder from the old C drive location, and restart DB again. As previously mentioned, if you didn't adjust it, it should now be on the current C.

Perfectly, remove all remnants from the former OS partition. Next, restore the data and proceed as needed.
