Drivers for Wi-Fi cards are not being installed.
Hi, I'm working on a nice desktop setup for a friend. After launching Windows, I downloaded the newest drivers from Asus for the X299-A Prime board. The Wi-Fi drivers aren't installing even though they claim it is. Restarting doesn't help. This has never happened before, and I really need assistance quickly. He plans to install it this Saturday, but today is Wednesday—most of Thursday and Friday are available. Notes: Motherboard is Asus X299-A Prime, CPU is i9 7920X, currently 16GB RAM installed (can go up to 64GB), Corsair RM1000i. Also, Bluetooth drivers worked fine.
It highlights the WAN Miniport multiple times, indicating it's a recurring element in the context.
I believe you're encountering an issue. The last option suggests a faulty MB. If you can't resolve it, consider reaching out for help.
