Drivers experience delays and crashes during startup.
I recently purchased the RX 6750 XT and followed all the usual steps—new drivers, fresh Windows 11 install, and a new build. The issue began with my game Hunt: Showdown. I noticed unusual red glare resembling a foggy sun reflection on water or distant surfaces. A picture below illustrates this effect, which clearly isn’t supposed to appear. A friend nearby saw everything normally. The game runs smoothly at around 130fps in 1440p, but the red fog bothers me. Occasionally, when launching Hunt, I see random clusters of green pixels far apart (possibly four), which other games don’t have. I’ve tested various games and found most crash within minutes or fail to launch properly. I’ve also tried rollback to previous drivers, a clean driver install, checking NVidia and AMD drivers, using different monitors and TVs, switching cables, testing multiple ports, adjusting settings in Adrenaline, lowering resolutions, updating BIOS, and even reinstalling Windows. Still, nothing has resolved the problem. What might be causing this?
CPU: Ryzen 5600x RAM: Kingston Fury 32GB 3600MHz CL16 Board: Gigabyte A520 AORUS ELITE Power Supply: Unknown make and model, but it seems to be around 600W
It's quite crucial. You haven't seen the PC since Monday and can't recall the details. The power supply seems likely involved.
The power source is needed to run the device. If you asked for assistance with your vehicle but didn’t mention essential details such as the brand and model, it would be challenging to provide accurate support.
The power source feeds energy to the device, and poor quality can affect the equipment at the other end, particularly during sudden voltage changes.
install windows 10 and see if it has an effect. I promise you can install windows 10 a lot faster than ordering and shipping a new power supply. This step will ensure that the issue isn't related to software or windows itself. if this doesn't have an effect then it's time to start buying/replacing hardware until the problem goes way
Thanks for the feedback! It’s clear you’re trying to figure out the right power level. Most sources suggest 650W is ideal, but some recommend 600W as a safe bet. It seems the advice varies based on your specific setup. As for whether it’s a hardware or software issue, it likely depends on your components and their compatibility with the power supply.
