You're starting your PC build and figuring out the right drivers. Based on what you've shared, you should check the chipset section for your motherboard for compatible drivers. For your GPU, the RTX 4080 requires specific drivers from NVIDIA, which you can download from their official site or the manufacturer's support page. Make sure to verify compatibility with your system version.

11 is preferable for the 13th generation. You might need to upgrade (yes, 11 is even worse than 10 in many areas). Microsoft Windows updates since version 7 have actually regressed. Those drivers should generally function, though they’re likely outdated. You’ll probably want to install them just in case there are board-level requirements, but you should also plan to refresh them. The NVIDIA website will offer the latest versions. Manufacturer sites are known for having obsolete drivers. Edited March 18, 2023 by Bombastinator

Set up the latest BIOS for your motherboard and definitely get your GPU drivers installed. Make sure you also download the chipset files to check compatibility. All updates were edited on March 18, 2023 by filpo.
