They usually identify the incorrect components and end up causing more issues.
I don’t have a clear answer yet, but you might want to visit Best Buy in person to check for updates or repairs.
Consider using the Windows Media Creation Tool on a USB drive. Access BIOS and boot from that device. If needed, reset the BIOS to verify stability. This process mainly involves software issues; the system appears functional overall. The reason I suggest this tool is that Windows ISO files can be inconsistent—some work with Rufus or certain drives, while others don’t boot at all. I’ve had five drives where Windows won’t start from them, but they function perfectly on other operating systems.
It can definitely happen. Rufus might not support the ISO format from Windows, causing boot issues or incompatibility. While I have several drives with different ISO versions created using Rufus or UUI—most work—I still face uncertainty about which Windows version will actually boot successfully.
It requires a lot of time on every USB drive I've used with it. Rufus is quicker and simpler than WMCT, and you can save your own ISO for future use. You can choose any connection method that works best, and you bypass the checksum verification during downloads.
I never attempted it since the setup probably requires more time than visiting Nvidia.com and clicking the download button. These tools seem confusing. Not even for saving time. I used the app that came with my motherboard a few months back, and it performed poorly. Either the installation failed or I received an outdated driver now. These programs aren't worth using—they take more effort than they provide and you're unsure if you have the latest versions.
