Hey, your PC has been acting up lately. When you open Device Manager, a PCI Serial Port appears under Other Devices with an error icon. You’re having trouble locating drivers or knowing the manufacturer. Here are some screenshots of Device Manager and Troubleshooting. Also, occasionally while playing CSGO, you encounter a BSOD with the message "SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED" and the file name is CMUSBDAC.sys. Think this might be related to the Serial Port issue?

I examined the issue, my old HP Compaq 8000 Elite Convertible Minitower with a GT 630 installed. I checked HP's website and found drivers only for systems up to Windows 8. With Windows 10 Pro installed, what options do I have?

Your BIOS doesn’t relate to the PCI serial port. It explicitly mentions USB CMUSBDAC, likely indicating a C-Media USB DAC, which is probably your soundcard. The PCI serial port isn’t a standard serial connection—it’s more of a remote management function from the chipset.

I solved the issue by checking the HP support site; the required driver wasn't listed, but I located the right one. Thanks!
