Hey there, I’m really struggling with my computer lately. After months of issues, I’m starting to feel overwhelmed. I’m hoping someone can suggest a solution. My main problem is that the GPU driver keeps failing in certain games, even though everything works fine otherwise. Until then, the games run smoothly with normal performance, but once the driver crashes, the computer freezes completely. I usually manage to keep playing for a short time before it stops. Sometimes the game quits entirely, and in rare cases the whole system restarts without any error messages. I’ve tried updating the GPU drivers, installing a fresh Windows, resetting BIOS settings, disabling certain profiles, and even replacing some hardware. The power supply change helped a bit with the Dark Power Pro 10, but it didn’t fix everything. Now I’m facing problems in other titles like World of Warships, War Thunder, and Helldivers 2. I’m running out of ideas and really need some help.

It's a bit puzzling about this situation. Here are some suggestions: monitor GPU temperatures using tools like MSI Afterburner or GPU-Z. Perform a memory test with MemTest86 to check for RAM issues. Review Event Viewer for any error logs around crash times. Ensure DirectX and Visual C++ redistributables are updated. Don't forget to contact the game communities you're using. Let me know if this helps!

I recommend checking online resources to find if others are experiencing the same or related problems.

Thanks for your input. At this stage, any assistance would be welcome. Temperatures seem to be within a safe range, so MemTest makes sense—I’ll give it a shot. Event Viewer doesn’t provide much detail; it just notes the system was shut down improperly without specifics. I’ve tested DirectX and C++ across various versions, including the newest, but nothing worked. I’ve spent hours searching online for general issues and game-specific fixes, yet no relevant information has turned up. For Helldivers 2, there are some tips on graphics settings that I tried, but they didn’t help. With the other games, I couldn’t find any useful guidance either.

You'll need to look beyond general game problems and focus on your particular hardware.

I also checked that. As I mentioned, a web search didn’t turn up anything. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have needed assistance here. I looked for Hardware, game-specific, and the problem was tailored to that category.

Explore additional search engines and verify Microsoft's site. You may need to submit a bug report. Review the requirements games list.

It could be that a BIOS update is required or even reverting to an older version.

The new mainboard includes the newest BIOS. I tested various BIOS versions on the old board without any effect. Windows and all games/drivers are current. A scan also showed no changes, though I previously performed a complete fresh Windows installation and nothing altered.
