Driver issue with AMD in Baldur's Gate 3 reported.
Hey everyone! I recently got a new PC from PC Specialists and have been facing some instability lately. The biggest issue is this random error when trying to play Baldur's Gate 3—it pops up without any clear cause. At first, even starting the Vulkan version crashed immediately, but after reinstalling one of my drivers, it worked. Now I’m using DirectX, which seems more stable, and I’ve tried using DDU/AMD removal tools to reinstall drivers in Safe Mode. I also attempted to install just the driver without Adrenaline. Before that, I kept seeing these strange errors in Event Viewer, even when I wasn’t playing games. After using DDU, they disappeared but crashes still happened. Here are my specs: a 64GB RAM system with Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5, RX 7900 XTX (Saphire Pulse), AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-A motherboard, and Windows 11 PRO. You're experiencing the same issue with 7900xtx again, except sometimes it causes your whole PC to lock up. I've tried various fixes like adjusting voltages, changing game settings, turning off smart access memory, etc., but nothing seems to work consistently. It usually takes around 30 minutes without a crash, which is better than the previous problems you had with Remnant 2 and BG3.
