Driver issue encountered during operation.
Have you noticed similar issues with Nvidia drivers recently? I'm encountering EventID 4101 multiple times daily, describing the display driver nvlddmkm not responding but recovering. I faced this before too, and I'm uncertain about the fix I used. The events began appearing on February 20, 2019 at 22:35, and they occur while playing a game (BDO). The game window becomes dark for a short time and then returns to normal after about 20 seconds. When I ran the PS command "driverquery /V | findstr nv", I discovered something unusual: the file nvlddmkm shows as running with Kernel Manual Running OK TRUE. It seems there was a change to this file on February 20, and I didn't update my system at that time. My PC had been idle for seven days when I checked it today. Are there any ways to review driver history or updates related to GPU drivers? Any suggestions on what might affect the nvlddmkm file?
I'm facing the same problem consistently across all games I play. Online resources haven't provided any useful solutions. I've adjusted Windows power settings and modified other configurations via the Nvidia control panel as suggested in some articles. Even after reinstalling Windows, the issue reappears within a day or so. Running the PS command "driverquery /V | findstr nv" reveals: nvlddmkm nvlddmkm nvlddmkm Kernel Manual Running OK TRUE FALSE 10,326,016 7,909,376 0 2/28/2019 11:36:41 PM C:\Windows\system32\DriverStore\FileRepository\n36,864 Event Viewer details.
