Driver IRQL Not Less Than or Equal Checks
Hi there! Earlier today, I restored Windows 10 on my computer. Everything seemed normal when downloading drivers, but suddenly a BSOD appeared. The error message mentioned DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL and pointed to usb80236.sys as the cause. I’m curious about what led to this issue. I was using a mouse, a USB drive, and my phone was connected via tethering. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! David Anderson
This situation seems to recur rather than being a one-time error. Windows often displays such BSODs after updates fail, usually due to a corrupted update. Repeated occurrences suggest a possible fix has already been applied. The mention of a driver points to a hardware or software conflict. You likely have these USB devices installed regularly and might have recently updated their drivers.
