I was planning to install Windows 7, but things got tricky. The error says I’m missing the CD/DVD driver. I checked online and saw most people use USB flash drives instead. I have the original CD in an external bay, but I’m not sure what to do next. Could you help me figure this out? Thanks!

your sata drive works with bios but not with the windows installer...

The DVD drive shouldn't show up during setup. Focus on whether your HDD or SSD appears in the install options.
