Yes, since you need to format the drive. You can re-download the drivers. If you're on an Intel platform, it's probably not necessary—consider getting chipset drivers for AMD instead.

This depends on the hardware since some Intel products might go unnoticed. It’s best to use drivers from the motherboard maker’s site. If they don’t support your operating system—especially on older systems—Windows Update should usually find missing ones. You can also try downloading standard drivers from Intel.
