CPU: i7 4790 GPU: RX 580 8gb SAPPHIRE Motherboard: very old one that has white/blue BIOS Ram: 16gb DDR3 PSU: 600W So i have a problem where my drivers keep failing making my game drop to anywhere between 1-5fps i fixed my PC crashing on games a lot and now its less but this has become an issue now, when this happens i notice there are no RX 580 drivers in device manager, GPU got re pasted and thermal pads changed last week if i remember correctly so im not sure if its AMDs fault here because of the drivers since they are updated to the latest ones, im assuming its because it cant load something properly but im not sure, anyone can help?
Is the problem appearing abruptly while playing games? Performance may begin smoothly but then decline sharply at a specific moment. Could checking the Windows Event Viewer under System or Application logs help identify related events around the time you notice reduced FPS? Would this issue happen repeatedly over time?
I could share on Discord if needed, yes it only happens during gaming and the performance starts okay but then drops. Even the background music slows down to around 1-5fps consistently. It affects both League of Legends and Roblox, and my PC can handle both games well since this hasn’t happened before. I’m not very familiar with Event Viewer, so I’m struggling to understand what’s going on.
