This issue involves a USB driver, likely related to FTDI technology. FTDI focuses on USB solutions, often providing chips for converting USB signals to serial communication. Their products are frequently used in microcontroller development or for managing RGB lighting and memory card readers. They also offer USB controllers, suggesting the hardware might be integrated into your motherboard.

Possible steps:
- Update or reinstall the driver software.
- Verify you have the most recent chipset drivers and motherboard updates.
- For ASUS systems, use their official uninstaller tool from their website.
- Restart the system and check if the problem persists.
- If it does, disconnect the device, open Device Manager, navigate to "View" > "Show hidden devices," locate the USB adapter, and uninstall it.
- Ensure the "Attempt to delete drive" option is selected.
- After removal, restart and try enabling Windows Update for new drivers.
- If unsuccessful, use Driver Store Explorer (https://github.com/lostindark/DriverStoreExplorer) to search for the FTDI driver, check the box, and delete it.
- Restart and attempt the Memory Integrity feature again.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, consider using the Sysinternals Autorun tool to remove the driver manually, or consult your motherboard manufacturer’s support resources.

Check the list of devices in Device Manager and look for details about the driver or its associated hardware.

Thank you for your help. The issue was resolved by searching for oem21.inf in the device manager, removing it, and enabling memory integrity. It's now functioning correctly.
