your pc keeps freezing during games. after checking everything i reinstalled drivers from 2020 and fixed it, but fortnite still had lag. i updated them again and it worked, though the issue returned. for gtx 1080 on windows 10, i need to reset the system once more to resolve the problem.

I'm assuming you're not running any overclocks on the GPU and/or memory? When you update the driver, did you do a clean install of the driver? If not, then that is a good place to start: Just run the driver executable, pick if you want GeForce Experience or not, pick the "Custom install" - option and check the box for doing a clean install. I'm sorry for the picture not being in English, but I there didn't seem to be a language option for the driver installer. If you've already tried this, and it didn't work, then DDU is you next best bet. Just follow the instructions on the linked site, and you'll completely wipe the driver from your PC and be able to do a completely fresh install of a newer driver.

I tested both versions—with and without DDU.

In the reliability log, there is a note about an issue with your hardware that led to Windows malfunctioning. The event details include a signature, parameters, and system information such as OS version, service pack, and product version.

Code 141 often signals a problem with the page file or system memory. It's unusual you encounter this after updating the graphics drivers. A simple solution I've used before is to perform a Windows check and repair using the command prompt (CMD). To verify your drive health, open CMD, type "chkdsk (driveletter): /f /r /x" (replace driveletter with your actual letter), press enter, and let it complete. For the repair step, launch CMD as administrator and run "SFC /scannow". If these steps don't resolve the issue, you may have a more serious hardware problem. First, test if your graphics card responds differently after installing the new driver. Tools like MSi Afterburner can help assess changes in clock speed, power settings, or fan curves. Adjust the OSD in Afterburner to show relevant data while gaming and observe any anomalies. Next, examine whether RAM issues are present. I typically use Windows' built-in Memory Diagnostic Tool, though MemTest86 is a solid alternative. Regardless of method, ensure it runs for the recommended duration to detect faults.
