I'm working on updating the drivers and need guidance on the USB 3.0 port. The motherboard in question is an ASUS A85XM-A. I’m unsure how to install the drivers properly. Are there simpler ways to ensure everything is up to date?

Visit ASUS' website to find your motherboard. In support they provide the most recent drivers for your motherboard. Search specifically for the USB 3.0 driver, download and install it. Direct link: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/A85XMA/..._Download/

Here’s a revised version of your sentence:

If the previous option isn’t sufficient, you can find Lenovo’s USB 3.0 drivers for AMD processors at this direct link: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds030088

Here they are—the USB 3.0 boost driver. Look for the file at http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1..._10518.zip within the utility folder.

You also used the same method, but it didn't detect any USB drives. Your 2.0 model is functioning properly.

Have you explored the FM2 Chipset + Chipset bundle? It might come pre-installed with some of those products. You can find it at the provided links, and you can also use drivereasy for scanning. I don’t prefer third-party software, but that option functions well.
