It's just really disappointing. I can open a few folders occasionally, but not consistently. I'm unable to format anything.

The second option refers to the one that came after the first. They’ll fix or swap out the drive if it stops working. I’m not sure they cover data recovery. With WD drives, you usually don’t need to worry about that. You have two SN550s and one SN570—each with at least a year of use and no problems. The last unit has been fine for four months after a fresh build. Another point: performance gains beyond 3,500 Mbps are rarely noticeable. Edited July 24, 2022 by An0maly_76 Updated with more details
