Hello, I recently assembled my first PC and am facing an odd issue with the DRAM indicator showing red and staying solid, while receiving no post. I'm using a B660 Aorus Master DDR4, RipJaws 4000-C16, and Intel i3-12100. All parts were new purchases. The fans and lights activate, the switches function properly, the monitor recognizes the system upon power-on, and the DRAM light appears immediately and remains steady. I tested each RAM stick separately in its slot, confirmed they were securely seated, flashed the BIOS via q-flash, reinserted the CPU, checked for bent pins, and avoided over-tightening the cooler after reseating. Despite these steps, the behavior persists. I've tried pressing all function keys during troubleshooting as well. I'm concerned this might indicate a faulty board, though it took time to gather everything before reaching any return deadlines. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. At the moment, this is my sole computer.

No, it hasn't posted before and the CMOS is still clear.

I confirmed the fix by removing the battery, emptying the system, applying the jumpers, and then re-flashing using a USB drive, though results remained the same.

Ensure everything is properly seated and connected to the right locations. Remove the power cable from the PSU and disconnect the CMOS battery for a short period. Reconnect it and observe any changes. If issues persist after removing all RAM slots one at a time, you may have missed something. Edit: You already replied before I posted.

It seems every RAM module you tried in each slot failed to install.

The QVL list for this board lists the supported G.Skill 4000 kits... Some models like F4-4000C18D-32GTZR and F4-4000C18D-16GTZR are confirmed. Others might not work at all. I've noticed RAM not in QVL can lead to problems such as POST failures, crashes, or no video display. This issue seems more common with Ryzen processors compared to Intel, though it's still possible. I utilized every stick in each slot, checked them one by one, no alteration in performance.

I considered it too, thinking the board would work with both 4000MHz RAM and C16 RAM, but it might not be as expected.
