I recently assembled a PC with an Intel i5 13600KF from Asus Prime Z790-A, without a GPU. I’m holding off on the RX 7900 until it becomes available. When I power on the machine, the yellow light stays on for five seconds before turning off, then the white VGA light activates—which is normal since I don’t have a dedicated GPU or integrated graphics. The fans spin and the RGB display functions correctly. I’m checking my RAM to ensure it’s still in good condition before making any changes.

7900 afaik lacks an integrated graphics card, so it won’t function without a dedicated video card. It doesn’t need to be high-end. If you don’t have anything suitable, consider purchasing a budget POS unit from eBay or similar sites and replacing it once you acquire one. You can still perform basic setup and browse the web; some diagnostic tools might even be useful. Anything with a video output that connects via PCIe should work, as long as it supports at least DirectX 9.
