Hello, welcome to the forum! I’m new here and just wanted to check if I’m in the right area. I recently switched my power supply from a Seasonic Focus 1000W to a newer ATX 3.1 model of the same type. Now, whenever I power on my PC, the DRAM light on my Asus B650 Plus Wi-Fi stays lit for about 10 seconds before turning off, after which it boots normally. I’m not sure what’s causing this and haven’t found any online solutions yet. I’ve also reinserted the RAM, but it hasn’t fixed the problem.

For diagnostic purposes, do you still possess the previous PSU? Would you like to place it beside the computer and connect it to test if it disappears? Additionally, does your motherboard display voltage outputs on the 12V, 5V, and 3.3V rails? If yes, what values are shown?

Consider checking a clear CMOS or updating the BIOS if available. This might prompt it to "relearn" the hardware.

Does the behavior happen on every single startup? If so you can try temporarily connecting the old PSU and seeing if the problem goes away. If it's only a 10 second start up delay though and does not present any issues while running your OS it's hard to say there's any real problem here. It's also harder to troubleshoot a DRAM LED where there's not much to test outside of disabling XMP/EXPO or pulling all but one stick and testing if the issue goes away.

I'll attempt this now. I've tested with my old PSU, but the issue continued. I'll also check if I can locate the voltage outputs.

I'll try disabling EXPO and see how it goes.

I've just reviewed it. Please find the voltage values attached.

I don’t have a USB plugged in, so I’ll place an order and perform a BIOS update. I understand there’s a method using Windows partitioning, but I’m uncertain about its effectiveness.
