DRAM Light
Your PC's DRAM light indicates a potential issue with the memory system. To resolve it, you may need to check connections, reset components, or consult manufacturer guidelines. Gather details like the motherboard model and any error codes for further assistance.
Providing detailed specs assists in our support, but a solid initial verification involves checking your RAM SKU against the board's QVL for the processor you're using, particularly with Ryzen. RAM issues can be significant with Ryzen systems. Edited September 20, 2022 by An0maly_76 Updated further
the details come from pcpartpicker, covering the 3Nb33y i7 12700k with a msi b660, corsair vengance ddr-4 3600 ram and samsung 970 evo plus a tb 1tb ssd. the msi geforece 3060 (12 gig) is listed, and everything seems compatible though i’m not sure if it’s completely accurate.
Disconnect the BIOS reset pins from the motherboard, often resolving common problems.
It seems this matters more with Ryzen than Intel, but your RAM model CMK32GX4M2D3600C18 isn't listed on the motherboard's Qualified Vendor List. That means full stability and compatibility can't be assured. If all else matches, it might be the issue. I've noticed some unusual problems with DIMMs too—some even fail after passing tests.
Often consider using the 1 stick of RAM trick. It can sometimes make a difference. Updating the BIOS is another option to try.
