So you just got a new motherboard and moved it into an old case with the same components, except for the new one. Your Asus P8Z77-V LX board has a red DRAM LED, but your PC isn’t showing any display. The fans are spinning, but nothing appears. You’ve checked RAM placement, reinserted it, flipped the CMOS battery, and runmed the CLRTC. Still no luck. This setup seems to be working fine otherwise. Important note: you’re new to this process.
I own a P8Z77-V, I've never noticed it doing that before, do you have another RAM option to try? Have you used any other sticks, perhaps aiming for the furthest slot—though it might be near the end? It's been a while. My unit stopped working for unrelated issues. I couldn't check storage devices.
It’s also important to mention I have a friend who plans to provide me with additional RAM to test. Maybe it’s not the problem in my room after all.
I haven't resolved the issue yet. You're experiencing the same problem.
