I started exploring and discovered Mitsubishi once produced DRAM chips. ELPIDA was also a Japanese company. ELPIDA acquired Mitsubishi’s DRAM division, and eventually Micron purchased ELPIDA between 2013 and 2014.

Huh so Japanese-American RAM? Still I am starting to think China was just running their mouths since I have seen one of these DRAMs...

The main brand that interacts with users is consumer-facing. While others use their chips, Rev. E stands out as one of the better ICs favored by those wanting to overclock inexpensively. You can find quality options without spending much extra. Compared to Samsung B-die, which adds a noticeable premium, and other manufacturers, Micron produces reliable products. However, any of these companies can deliver subpar results.

There are fully Chinese DDR3 available, especially used in SSDs where DDR3 DIMMs are less common. However, producing DDR4 might still require outside assistance.

Crucial is a segment under Micron and Kingston, which exclusively use Micron memory. Both Crucial and Kingston are leading producers of items that rely on Micron memory. Based on my observations, the performance tends to be superior with products from Crucial and Kingston compared to other brands using Micron memory.

Awws ok I kinda wanted to see what a Chinese RAM stick looked like and performed, I was thinkink maybe it would be DDR4-1866MHz CL19? XD Edit: Look like? Probably green or brown sticks with no heat-spreader...
