Dragon continues to lag and lacks optimization.
Despite the recent update that supposedly enhances optimization, I still find Watch Dogs difficult to play. I typically maintain around 30-60 FPS, which should be sufficient, but the FPS counter rarely drops below that level. The stuttering doesn<|pad|>, doesn’t seem to vary much between Medium and High Textures. I’ve attached my graphics configuration. Are there any solutions to prevent the stuttering? I’ve tried disabling pagefile checks, but it didn’t help. I also experimented with other settings, though I’m not sure which worked best. It’s interesting that Nvidia suggests enabling Ultra Textures and Temporal SMAA in GeForce Experience. I’d like to locate a fix that doesn’t require lowering my graphics settings, since the reported FPS suggests I should be able to maintain performance. Please let me know if you need additional details about my system (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc.).
Check the Worse mod. It stops stuttering and actually fixes the game (the patch never worked).
Alright, I'll give it a shot. If it actually solves the issue, I'll be both puzzled and excited at the same time, hehe.
Having the patch settings at a lower level seems to help a bit, though it can still cause stuttering. I’ll need to check if the mod supports the right settings. If anyone has suggestions or fixes, please share—they’d be appreciated!
I share the same settings as you, just using a 4770k model. Playing at high quality with that mod still looks great, almost indistinguishable from ultra. I keep all the high options active—temporal SMA or SMA, hbao+low or high—and set brightness to 20 or 15. I use this mod here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=390558
This updated version of the mod actually resolves the stuttering issue and improves the visual quality. I'll remain monitoring it, as my test run was just five minutes on the standard route.
I don’t have personal settings, but I can help you adjust graphics options if you let me know your device or preferences.
