I was considering purchasing Dragon Age Inquisition. I've seen some YouTube reviews, but I'm curious—have you actually played it? What are your opinions? Does it justify the price of $39? Have any recent updates resolved issues or introduced new features?

80 hours logged...coop, what's going on? It's a fun game after all.

I really liked it a lot. Many complaints stem from the fact that there’s a lot to do, which can feel dull. However, if you don’t rush everything, you can skip a lot of it. I spent about 100 hours playing, but I still need to finish another round.

Excellent game with a few minor problems. It might have taken a little longer to complete. I’d definitely buy it when it’s on sale. I’m glad I ordered the deluxe version beforehand.

Thanks for the feedback, I think I’ll give it a shot. If it doesn’t work, I can send it back with the 72-hour policy, which I assume means 24 hours.

I feel a mix of emotions about this experience. (I'm about halfway through) The game offers a lot of material, but much of it seems unnecessary. I really dislike quests that just ask you to locate items in the wild and mark them on your map. It appears over 80% of side missions follow this pattern. When you encounter companions, they only engage briefly before deciding to leave, which keeps the game moving forward so you can return to finding resources. Most tasks revolve around closing certain gaps, retrieving keys, or gathering materials. Calling the game a full 100 hours because of these elements feels misleading. The loot available is minimal and often weaker than what I started with. The characters themselves are unengaging, to the point where I rarely interact with them outside quests. That’s unusual for me in Bioware titles, but I have no interest in any of the main cast here. I almost wanted to remove Sera from the Inquisition because of her irritation. The only interesting interactions come from the characters Origins introduced, which are the most developed. Animation quality is poor, particularly during combat, with repetitive 7-second sequences. Combat could use significant refinement. You do pick up special abilities, but after hours of play you’ll grow tired of the same motions. Still, I’m making progress and plan to finish it. It’s enjoyable, though it falls short compared to Origins and even Mass Effect titles.
