It might be worthwhile considering it. If it shares similarities with Skyrim, it could be a good investment. The online reviews seem inconsistent, which makes me hesitant, and I prefer not to watch spoilers from Let’s Play videos. So far, I’ve only checked the early parts.

If you enjoy Skyrim, you'll appreciate Dragon Age: Inquisition (and Origins if you haven't tried it yet). They offer compelling narratives, memorable characters, enjoyable gameplay, and impressive visuals.

It's worth trying. It's not the same as Skyrim, though it has some problems. Still, it's a solid game overall.

You'd probably liken the game to something reliable, but it suffers from several problems. I'm tired of Ubisoft titles that aren't functioning well and wouldn't want to invest in them.

Skyrim and DA:I/O share only a superficial connection—they both involve weapons or magic—but their core experiences differ greatly. DA:I is not an open-world title, unlike Skyrim, which offers a vast, explorable environment.

It's a complex experience with deep open-world elements and rich storytelling. The game offers a robust crafting system but may have performance issues and awkward controls for longer sessions.

It resembles an open-world experience quite a bit. Mission access usually involves exploring the environment and choosing paths. You enjoy games that let you navigate freely and progress at your own pace.

It's not a fully open world. You're limited to a central hub for accessing the war-table and different zones. Each zone is big enough for exploration but not expansive enough for true open-world feel. The developers don't label it that way either. Don't misunderstand, the game is strong and I highly suggest it.

The crafting system is similar to a refined version of Might and Magic. It’s straightforward enough for someone who prefers rushing through content. Yes, it supports console controllers, so you can use an Xbox One controller if you decide to buy one.
