I lost interest after the disaster began. But maybe I’ll try again.
I'll take it. After playing through Pandaria, I've been taking more breaks lately, making it hard to decide if I'll continue in the long term.
I enjoyed vanilla, BC and Wrath before Cata caused significant damage to my guilds on my home server. I think removing individual lockouts on 10/25 man content eliminated the pug scene and entry-level raid groups since they couldn't maintain 10-man squads like in ICC. LFR's rollout aimed to patch that gap, but it felt like a rushed solution, and the developers seem to be working hard to rebuild trust in the franchise. http://i.imgur.com/2T1XDMZ.png?1 This chart shows a lot, will I play WoD? I'm open to trying it, I'm ready to test this without flying mechanics until 6.1. But if they expect people to dive into an entire expansion of Timeless Isles all at once, they're going too far. With the trend toward class homogenization, ability cuts, and cutting out flying roles or what I see as excessive garrison focus, I fear we'll face a big drop in subscriptions during the first six months after the initial testing phase.
