You’ll need to prepare a few more items after installing Windows 10 Pro. Make sure you’ve downloaded and installed the latest NVIDIA drivers. Once you boot, focus on adjusting key settings like display preferences, power options, and privacy controls to suit your needs. No other major updates are required unless you encounter specific issues.

I simply installed it without any additional files, and it functioned perfectly.

Start the operating system for the first time by exploring the available choices instead of immediately applying defaults. On the second screen, you'll find an option to prevent specific information from being shared with Microsoft. In Windows 10, navigate to Settings > Update & Security > Advanced and adjust the Automatic restart setting to Notify so it can schedule a restart.

I had to retrieve the On-Board LAN drivers, and the rest was smooth.

The OOBE performs exceptionally well on a fairly recent operating system. I haven't encountered any problems or blue screens. Windows updates efficiently locate and install the newest drivers you're missing.

With a backup PC available, you can focus on fixing missing components as they appear. If you lack a second machine, updating network drivers could be a priority only if you're unable to connect online. Once you're online, your home network will be fully functional.
