No platforms offer a way to download the original files without purchasing them. If you only came for pirate links, you're in trouble. Following the rules is essential.

Yes, there are several alternatives to Steam available today. Both Blizzard and Microsoft previously owned and operated their own platforms.

These options are mainly limited to titles released or created by those companies. The closest rival to Steam is Good Ol' Games (GOG.com), though they tend to focus on older releases and a few newer ones.
