Torrenting refers to sharing files through peer-to-peer networks, often involving large amounts of data like movies and games. While it’s commonly used for legitimate purposes such as accessing content not available elsewhere, it can also involve illegal distribution. Many people use it for entertainment, but it raises legal concerns because publishers may lose revenue. The reason it persists is due to the ease of finding and sharing content online, though enforcement remains inconsistent. As for personal involvement, some individuals have tried it, but consequences vary widely depending on jurisdiction and platform policies.

It's definitely the top achievement. Probably overstating it, but it's helpful. -edit- @WinNut even my ninja is a ninja'd

Torrenting refers to sharing files such as home videos or large photo sets. It’s a method of distributing content, and while it can be misused for piracy, it’s not inherently illegal. As long as it’s used responsibly, it remains a legitimate practice.

Hello, it's not worth downloading anything. The outcomes can be quite serious depending on what you're doing. By torrenting, you're essentially taking something without permission, which is a bit like stealing. You might as well purchase the item yourself since the money would probably go toward another version of the software, movie, or song (or whatever you're trying to share). ~ Harry

Someone shared a post that another person intended to share, which is why it's called "ninja'd." Because ninjas move fast.
