I located my outdated laptop with a faulty hard drive and considered bringing it back to its former state. The main challenge is the absence of a Windows XP installation disc. Could anyone recommend a source for downloading Windows XP Home Edition (32-bit)? I've searched various sites but only found Windows XP Pro versions available. A Finnish version would be helpful, though an English translation would also suffice.

You might swap it for an SSD, and set up Windows 10 if you intend to use it, though for a retro vibe you could stick with it.

I don’t intend to use it much. I attempted to install Linux, but the outdated laptop struggles with basic operations.
