You can try downloading Windows 7 from a trusted source and install it onto your Dell OptiPlex PC. Make sure to follow the installation instructions carefully. It's important to ensure you're using legitimate sources to avoid legal issues.

You're essentially choosing between a CD version or downloading it from a torrent and entering your key. This should resolve the issue.

I didn't understand that before. What's the topic you're asking about?

This doesn't function properly with OEM's, especially mine.

Consider using his sticker, though I doubt it.

Search for a Windows 7 Pro ISO and download it onto your machine. Install Unetbootin to place the ISO onto a USB drive. After installation, turn on your Dell computer and press F2, F12, or DEL to start setup. In the boot options, set the USB as the first drive. Insert the USB containing the Windows ISO into a compatible port and restart. During setup, enter your product key. This process is legal. A YouTube tutorial can guide you through the steps if you search for instructions like "how to create a Windows 7 bootable USB drive."

Despite the warranty being expired, I contacted Dell and asked them about a disc; they agreed to provide one. That was what I needed to do.
