I attempted to download Windows 11 on October 6th using the "Windows 11 install assistant." It reported that the installation files were damaged and displayed an error code. When I tried a different time with off-peak data, the same issue persisted—files remained corrupted. The download progress fluctuated, starting at 55% and then jumping to 100%, only to restart from the beginning. During the installation, the system indicated it used roughly 5GB of space, matching the size of the Windows 11 ISO.

You mentioned your laptop has an i5 7th generation CPU, which is compatible with Windows 11. Despite the processor being functional and having two cores, it still shows incompatibility. Can you install Windows 11 using an ISO file on another device? Also, in the device where the error appeared, it doesn’t show an option to check for updates or run Windows 11.

Are there alternative methods to download Windows 11 without erasing your data, so you can install it on another compatible machine?
