I just purchased a computer from Craigslist. It came with a Windows 7 license, but the hard drive was formatted. Since it's a manufacturer key, I can't get the files directly from Microsoft and I don’t have a Windows 7 installation disk. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for your help.

This is a mirror of the former digitalriver content. Basically, these are stock Windows 7 images from multiple countries. All you have to do is download the one for your country and load it up. Put in the key and you're done. http://mirror.corenoc.de/digitalrivercontent.net/

Absolutely, I rely on it frequently since I've had to reinstall Windows on many machines.

Thank you for your message. I tried to help by using an alternative service, but I’m still having trouble setting up the method as a disk image. Appreciate your understanding.

It's secure. I verified several checksum values, and they align with the files I obtained from DigitalRiver BITD.
