I checked my download speeds while using Fortnite and other apps on both my phone and PC. My PC speed is usually between 2-3mbps, and my phone is around 15-20mbps. There seems to be a difference, but why?

The difference lies in how they are used or presented.

Mbps stands for Megabits per second, while MBps equals Mega bytes per second. One byte equals eight bits. Therefore, 1MBps equals 8Mbps. Speeds between 2-3MBps correspond to roughly 20Mbps.

Are you linking to the Play Store through a wired connection or a wireless adapter? The servers there seem strong, but that doesn’t necessarily relate to your device. Check if you can download the same content from the same source on both your computer and your phone—you should notice minimal differences.

Ethernet is fascinating. Most of what I do on my phone is quicker than my PC for downloads, especially those not from the Play Store.

It seems the issue is consistent across both your phone and PC.
