download rate decreases progressively
Today, at around 12 i started a download while i left to go somewhere and i was getting 2 mb/s download speed, but when i came back the download didn't finish in the expected time because it dropped to 300 KB/S. This is a drastic difference and its still around 300 kb/s. I checked everything, no one was home or downloading anything while we left, and i made sure steam was the only thing open so i can get the fastest download speed. Anybody know whats going on?
Absolutely, whatever source you're getting it from sets the limit at 300kbps.
